Whereas, The Town of Bloomington has not elected any
town officials or functioned as a town for several years,
therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 28 to 38, inclusive, of Article 12 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Garrett County", sub-title "Bloomington", be and
they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 344.
(Senate Bill 254)
AN ACT to add nine new sections to Article 50 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Joint
Obligations and Joint Tenancy", to be under new sub-
title "Joint Tortfeasors", said new sections to be known
as Sections 21 to 29, inclusive, and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 20 of said Article, relating to con-
tribution among tortfeasors, release of tortfeasors and
procedure for recovery of contribution.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That nine new sections be and they are hereby
added to Article 50 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Joint Obligations and Joint Ten-
ancy", to be under new sub-title "Joint Tortfeasors", said
new sections to be known as Sections 21 to 29, inclusive,
to follow immediately after Section 20 of said Article, and
to read as follows:
JOINT TORTFEASORS
21. Definitions. For the purposes of this sub-title—
(a) "Joint tortfeasors" means two or more persons
jointly or severally liable in tort for the same injury to
person or property, whether or not judgment has been re-
covered against all or some of them:
(b) "Injured person" means any person having a claim
in tort for injury to person or property.
