amendments legalize the transactions of banks in both
Prince George's and Montgomery Counties done within
hours fixed by them for public convenience on the fif-
teenth and last day of each month, later than hours
established for the other days of the month, or between
the hours of five and six in the afternoon on any busi-
ness days of the week. "

CHAPTER 342.
(Senate Bill 211)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
1 of Chapter 409 of the Acts of 1935, creating the Upper
Potomac River District and the Upper Potomac River
Commission, and to add a new section to said Chapter
409, said new section to be known as Section 7A, ex-
tending the boundaries of said District to include part of
the First Election District of Garrett County and author-
izing the Upper Potomac River Commission to convey or
lease certain lands to the State Department of Forestry
and authorizing the said Commission and the State
Department of Forestry to enter into an agreement rela-
tive to said lands.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 1 of Chapter 409 of the Acts of
1935, creating the Upper Potomac River District and the
Upper Potomac River Commission, be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as fol-
lows:

1. The territory included within Allegany County and
Election District No. 4 of Garrett County and the territory
in Election District No. 1 of Garrett County owned by the
Upper Potomac River Commission on January 1, 1941, all
in the State of Maryland, are hereby made and constituted
the Upper Potomac River District for the purposes here-
inafter set forth, and shall be known and cited as the
"Upper Potomac River District". The word "District" as
hereinafter used is defined to mean the Upper Potomac
River District.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That a new section
