southwesterly limits of the town of Snow Hill, being com-
monly called parts of the "Hawk Lot", and being all and
the same lands which were conveyed to said Mayor and
Council of Snow Hill by deed from New Hope Lodge No.
47, Knights of Pythias of North America, South America,
Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, and Edward J. Henry,
et als, dated April 9, 1936, and recorded among the Land
Records of Worcester County, Maryland, in Liber B. B.
No. 30, Folio 28, and by deed from Newell M. Corddry
and others, dated December 22, 1938, and recorded among
said land records in Liber B. B. No. 37, Folio 313 et seq.,
together with the buildings and improvements thereon
and all rights, ways, waters, privileges, appurtenances and
advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertain-
ing.
SEC. 2. And Be It Further Enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed by a yea or nay vote supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
320 of Article 24 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland
1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", subtitle "Snow
Hill", changing the date on which municipal taxes become
due and payable to conform with the General Law and
changing the dates within which Mayor arid Council of
Snow Hill may allow discounts for early payments of
taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 320 of Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Worcester County", sub-title "Snow Hill", be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments
to read as follows:
320. The Council shall levy annually, as soon as may
be practicable after the first day of January and in any
