Gordon Street Extended and on one of the dividing lines be-
tween the Kelly lands and a tract or lot of land owned and
occupied by Harvey Ewing and wife, and thence running with
the dividing line between the said lot and the Kelly land two
courses, viz: south thirty-two (32) degrees twenty-four (24)
minutes thirty (30) seconds east four hundred and twelve and
ninety one-hundredths (412. 90) feet to a post, and north fifty-
six (56) degrees thirty-five (35) minutes thirty (30) seconds
east two hundred and eighteen and fifty one-hundredths
(218. 50) feet to a post at the southeast corner of the said
Ewing lot, and thence running with the easterly outline of the
lands of Doctor Howard A. Kelly, as follows: south thirty-two
(32) degrees twenty-seven (27) minutes thirty (30) seconds
east thirteen hundred and thirty-five and no (00) one-hun-
dredths (1335. 00) feet to a piece of iron pipe, south five (5)
degrees four (04) minutes forty (40) seconds west three hun-
dred and seventy-nine and fifteen one-hundredths (379. 15) feet
to a stone, south three (3) degrees fifty-two (52) minutes no
(00) seconds east two hundred and twelve and sixty one-hun-
dredths (212. 60) feet to a stone, and south, thirty-six (36)
degrees forty-eight (48) minutes thirty (30) seconds east five
hundred and twenty-six and fifty-two one-hundredths (526. 52)
feet to the beginning hereof, according to a survey of Somer-
ville & Somerville, February, 1929.
The Commissioners of the Town of Bel Air shall maintain
suitable markers to designate the boundary lines of said Town
and shall cause to be made plats of said Town to be recorded
among the Land Records in the Circuit Court for Harford
County as other plats are now recorded; and copies of the
plats so recorded, duly certified by the Clerk of said Court,
shall be admitted as evidence by all courts within the State of
Maryland.
97. Those persons residing within the corporate limits of
the Town of Bel Air, above the age of twenty-one (21) years,
who are assessed with at least One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00)
worth of real or personal property on the tax books of said
town shall hold an election on the first Monday of May, 1942,
and every two (2) years thereafter for five (5) Commissioners
who must be qualified voters of said town. The Commissioners
so elected shall hold office for two (2) years or until their
successors are elected and qualified; provided that the present
Commissioners elected on the first Monday of May, 1940, shall
hold office until the first Monday of May, 1942, or until their
successors are duly elected and qualified.
A majority of the Commissioners shall constitute a quorum
to transact business, and a majority shall always govern; and
in case of vacancy in the Board of Commissioners during its
term of office the remaining Commissioners shall have power
