Section 241 of said Article, relating to certain county em-
ployees engaged in constructing or maintaining county
roads or bridges in Wicomico County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Wicomico County'', sub-title "Roads", said new
section to be known as Section 241A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 241 of said Article and to read as
follows:
241 A. (1) Every county employee engaged in the construc-
tion or maintenance of county roads or bridges shall be under
the exclusive jurisdiction and control of the County Road
Engineer.
(2) Such employees shall receive not less than the hourly
wage rate paid to State employees engaged in similar work
on State Highways in Wicomico County.
(3) Every such employee who promptly reports for work at
the State Roads Barns designated by the County Road En-
gineer shall receive at least one-half a day's wages, even
though he does no work on that day because of inclement
weather.
(4) Each such employee who has worked under the County
Road Engineer for at least one year shall receive 15 days' va-
cation with pay, at a time to be designated by said Superin-
tendent; and shall also be entitled to 15 days' sick leave with
pay in each year.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
72 and 73 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title
"County Dispensaries", relating to the salary of the mem-
bers of the Liquor Control Board of Somerset County and
increasing the reserve fund of said board.
