lated on the data designated above, of all the policies in force
in the company on the previous thirty-first day of December,
and stating that the said company is fully authorized to do
business in its own state. Every life insurance company
doing business in this State during the year for which the
statement is made that fails promptly to furnish the certifi-
cate aforesaid shall be required to make a full detailed list
of its policies and securities to the Insurance Commissioner
of this State, who shall thereupon cause the same to be valued
at the expense of said company.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 298.
(House Bill 332)

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Somerset County to levy and pay a certain sum of money to
Clifford Kirwan.

WHEREAS, Harold Cullen ordered from Clifford Kirwan, in
April, 1933, 3, 050 bushels of oyster shells at 2% cents per
bushel, and

WHEREAS, Said oyster shells were hauled and delivered for
use on the roads of Somerset County in 1933, and

WHEREAS, No payment ha§ ever been made for said shells,
therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Somerset County be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to include in the
next tax levy in Somerset County the sum of f 76. 25 and to
pay the same to Clifford Kirwan for the oyster shells furnished
by him for use on the roads of Somerset County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.
