"Thurmont", said new section to be known as Section 781A,
to follow immediately after Section 781 of said Article, and
to read as follows:
781A. The Commissioners of Thurmont are hereby
authorized and empowered to impose and collect an an-
nual charge or rent for the use of the sewers of said town,
the said charge or rent to be collected as town taxes are
collected, and said rents or charges shall be liens on the
property served by said sewers.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 19.
(Senate Bill 79)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 88 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot County", sub-
title "County Treasurer", authorizing the Treasurer of
Talbot County to deposit funds in any bank or banks in
Talbot County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 88 of Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Tal-
bot County", sub-title "County Treasurer", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
88. The said Treasurer shall, at least once in every
two weeks, deposit in a bank or banks in Talbot County
all taxes received or collected by him as Collector of
State Taxes, and the portion due Talbot County to be
deposited on the credit of the County Commissioners of
Talbot County; and the said Treasurer shall, on or before
the first day of January in each and every year, forward
to the State Treasurer a check for the amount of State
taxes as collected by him and the balance of State taxes as
collected by him; and the balance of State taxes levied in
Talbot County for each year shall be forwarded to the
State Treasurer within the time after the first day of
