ments contained therein are true and are of opinion that the
applicant is a suitable person to whom a license may be issued.

(C) No person shall be permitted to support or endorse
more than one application for a license.

(D) Every person receiving a license under the sub-title
shall frame the same under glass and place conspicuously
in the place of business where it may at all times be easily
read.

212A. In each and every month, the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Howard County shall publish by a single insertion
in a newspaper of general circulation in Howard County, a
notice of all Class A "Beer Licenses" and Class B "Liquor and
Wine Licenses" issued under the provisions of this sub-title
during the month preceding, and a sum sufficient to pay the
proportionate cost of such notice shall be paid to the Clerk by
each person to whom a license is issued. The published notice
shall group the licenses according to districts and shall specify
the name of the person to whom the license is issued, the kind
of license and location of the place of business. The notice
shall also contain a clause to the effect that five (5) or more
reputable citizens who are real estate owners, voters and resi-
dents in the district where the place of business is located,
may over their own signatures file with the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Howard County protests against any license
granted, and the continued operation of the particular place
of business. The Board of County Commissioners may, in its
discretion, appoint from time to time and for such period or
periods as it may deem proper, an investigator or investiga-
tors, at a salary or salaries not to exceed in the aggregate
Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1, 200. 00) a year, whose duty it
shall be to make investigations of all protests and complaints
of violations of this sub-title, inspect the premises of any li-
censee at any time that any person is on the licensed premises,
and make complaints in writing to the Board of County Com-
missioners of violations of this sub-title, and written com-
plaints of violations may also be filed with said Board by the
Sheriff for Howard County.

212B. When any protest made pursuant to the notice pro-
vided for in the foregoing section shall be filed with the Clerk
of the Circuit Court, there shall be endorsed thereon the
time of filing, and the same shall be immediately transmitted
to the Board of County Commissioners of Howard County.
The Board of County Commissioners shall hear and deter-
mine all such protests and any complaints of violations by
licensees submitted by any person authorized to make com-
plaints by said Section 212A with power to summon and ad-
minister oaths to witnesses. Upon receipt of any such protest
