Maryland, (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery County",
sub-title "Rockville", said new section to be known as
Section 905-B to follow immediately after Section 905-A
of said Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery
County; to extend the boundaries of the Town of Rock-
ville in Montgomery County and to exclude such terri-
tory so included within said Town of Rockville from the
Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District and from
the Maryland-Washington Regional District and from
the jurisdiction of the Maryland National Capitol Park
and Planning Commission and the ordinances thereof,
and to exempt the lands therein from taxes hereafter to
be levied for the purposes of said Metropolitan and Re-
gional Districts.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County
(1939 Edition), the same being Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery Coun-
ty", sub-title "Rockville", said section to be known as Sec-
tion 905-B to follow immediately after section 905-A of
said Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County and
to read as follows:

905-B. The boundaries of the Town of Rockville are
hereby extended to include the following area, which is
added to said town: beginning for the same at a point on
the next to the last line of the original corporate limits of
Rockville, said point being on the West property line of
1st Street and 180 feet distant from the end thereof and
running thence parallel to and 205 feet distant from the
center line of the Viers Mill Road in a southeasterly direc-
tion to intersect the westerly line of the property of Oscar
C. Huffman; thence with said westerly line of Huffman
and with the boundary thereof N 17° 14' E to intersect the
north line of Maple Street (formerly Park) projected
thence with the north line of said Maple Street projected
in a westerly direction to the West line of 1st Street.

SEC. 2. That all of the territory hereby annexed to
the town of Rockville is hereby excluded from the limits
of the Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District and
from the limits of the Maryland-Washington Regional Dis-
trict, nor shall the lands therein be subject to the jurisdic-
tion of the Maryland National Capitol Park and Planning
Commission, nor subject to the ordinances thereof, and all
of said lands shall hereafter be exempt from taxes here-
after levied for the purposes of said Metropolitan and Re-
gional Districts.
