AN ACT to repeal Sections 869 to 872, inclusive, of Article
22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Washington County", sub-title "Work-
house".

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 869 to 872, inclusive, of Article 22
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Washington County", sub-title "Workhouse",
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 188.
(Senate Bill 243)

AN ACT to repeal Section 137 or Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", sub-title "Cocaine".

Whereas, There is a State-wide law regulating the sale
of narcotics, thereby rendering this section unnecessary,
therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 137 of Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", sub-title "Cocaine", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.
