tion), title "Cecil County", sub-title "Elections", as said sec-
tions were enacted by Chapter 129 of the Acts of 1935 and
amended by Chapter 492 of the Acts of 1939, and to enact
in lieu thereof one new section to be known as Section 168A,
relating to contracts for printing ballots.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 168A to 168E, inclusive, of Article 8 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Cecil County'', sub-title "Elections", as said sections
were enacted by Chapter 129 of the Acts of 1935 and amended
by Chapter 492 of the Acts of 1939, be and they are hereby
repealed and to enact in lieu thereof a new section to be known
as Section 168A, and to read as follows:

168A. The Supervisors of Elections of Cecil County are
hereby authorized and directed to ask for bids from the sev-
eral newspapers published in Cecil County for the printing of
ballots for all primary and general elections held in said
county and shall award the contract for the printing of said
ballots to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders and said
ballots shall be printed only in Cecil County and not elsewhere.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 157.
(House Bill 364)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 221
of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title "Fred-
erick City", sub-heading "City Constables", and to add ten
new sections to said Article to be known as Sections 221A,
221B, 221C, 221D, 221E, 221F, 221G, 221H, 221-I and 221J,
to follow immediately after Section 221 of said Article,
relating to the police force of Frederick City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 221 of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County", sub-title "Frederick City", sub-heading "City Con-
stables", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments; and that ten new sections be and they are
