04 FEDERAL FUNDS:

Proceeds of the Appropriations made by the United
States Government to the State Roads Commission,
being 100% of the funds allotted to the State of
Maryland as Federal Aid. The amount named
herein is an estimate only, and represents an
amount comparable to appropriations made during
the past several years, it being the intention, how-
ever, that these appropriations shall be the whole
of said allotments, and shall be expended by the
Commission subject to the rules and regulations
prescribed with reference to the administration
thereof, for the construction of new roads and
bridges on the State System, and for the construc-
tion and reconstruction of exsiting roads and
bridges on the State System; for the development
of the Secondary or Feeder Road Systems and for
the Elimination of Grade Crossings:
Appropriations as Regular Federal Aid........... 944,288.00 944,288.00

Appropriations for Secondary or Feeder Road Con-
struction ................................... 123,168.00 123,168.00

Appropriations for Grade Eliminations........... 300,034.00 300,034.00

The Commission likewise is hereby authorized to
accept and receive all of the Federal Funds now
appropriated and made available, as well as all
funds to be appropriated and to be made available
to the State Roads Commission for the use of the
