116B, 1160, 116D, 116E, 116F, 116G, 116H, 1161, 116J, 116K,
116L, 116M, 116N, 116O, 116P, 116Q, 116R, 116S, 116T, 116U,
116V, 11GW, and 116X, to follow immediately after Section
116 of said Article and to be preceded by the heading "Muni-
cipal Electric Light and Power System", and to read as
follows:

MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER SYSTEM

116A For the purpose of providing the residents of Cris-
field with adequate, efficient and dependable electric light and
power service, the Mayor and Council of Crisfield is author-
ized, enabled and empowered:

(a) To acquire, construct, establish, own and operate a
municipal electric light and power system, as hereinafter de-
fined, for the production, generation, distribution and sale of
electrical energy and power, such energy and power to be sold
or supplied to the Mayor and Council of Crisfield and the
residents of said municipality for public and private uses and
purposes, as such energy may be requested and ordered by
them respectively;

(b) to operate and maintain said municipal electric light
and power system, including all plants and equipment neces-
sary or useful to provide and comprise a complete electric
light and power generating plant and distribution system
adequate for the purpose of supplying to said municipality
and to the above-described private individuals a suitable and
sufficient supply of electrical energy and power for domestic,
industrial, manufacturing and other purposes and for the
lighting of public streets, ways, buildings and places in and
about said municipality;

(c) to issue and sell revenue bonds, notes or certificates
of said municipality payable solely from the earnings of said
municipal electric light and power system in order to pay
the initial cost, as hereinafter provided, of construction of
said system;

(d) to enter into a suitable contract or contracts for the
construction, of said municipal electric light and power system
in the manner hereinafter provided and to acquire by pur-
chase, condemnation, lease, gift or otherwise all land, ease-
ments, rights of way and other interests or privileges, either
within or "without the corporate limits of said municipality,
necessary for or appropriate to the construction of said elec-
tric generating plant and distribution system or to negotiate
for the purchase of or to accept the donation of any existing
distribution facilities.

116B As used in Sections 116A to 116X inclusive, of this
sub-title, the following words and terms shall have the fol-
