shall be fined not more than Fifty Dollars ($50. 00) or im-
prisoned for not more than thirty (30) days for the first
offense, and for each offense thereafter shall be fined not more
than One Hundred Dollars ($100) or imprisoned for not more
than sixty (60) days.
795B. The provisions of this sub-title shall be construed as
an addition to and not a substitution for existing regulations
and penalties concerning the weighing, sale, transportation,
and delivery of coal. Provided, however, that nothing in this
sub-title shall apply to or effect licensed coal dealers in
Howard County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That if any provision of
this Act or the application thereof to any person or circum-
stance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the
remainder of this Act or the application of such provision to
other persons or circumstances.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal Section 217 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition—being Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Montgomery County", sub-title "County Commissioners
and Treasurer", sub-heading "Taxes", and to repeal and re-
enact with amendments Sections 195, 199, 202 and 205 of
said Code, sub-title "County Commissioners and County
Treasurer", sub-heading "County Treasurer", relating to
the duties of the County Treasurer of Montgomery County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 217 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1939 Edition—being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "County Commissioners and Treasurer",
sub-heading "Taxes", be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 195, 199,
202 and 205 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery
County (1939 Edition—being Article 16 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery County",
