shall be sent to the power or electric company furnishing
the electricity for the consumer's property, and the other shall
be sent to the Board of Electrical Examiners.
247R. The provisions of this sub-title shall not apply to
journeymen electricians or apprentices while such journeymen
or apprentices shall be practicing their trade of journeymen
electrician or apprentice, nor to any electrical light company,
electric railway or railroad company, steam railway or rail-
road company, telegraph or telephone company nor to those
performing electrical work for such companies where said
electrical work is an integral part of the plant or service used
by such company in rendering their duly authorized service to
the public.
247S. If any provision of this sub-title is declared uncon-
stitutional or the applicability thereof to any person or cir-
cumstances is held invalid, the constitutionality of the re-
mainder of the sub-title and the applicability of the remainder
of the sub-title and the applicability thereof to other persons
and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal Section 144A of Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Fred-
erick County", sub-title "Dogs", as said section was enact-
ed by Chapter 175 of the Laws of Maryland of 1939, and to
repeal Sections 144B and 144C of said Article, as said Sec-
tions were enacted by Chapter 414 of the Laws of Mary-
land of 1933, and to enact in lieu thereof 9 new sections to
be known as Sections 144A to 144-1, inclusive, relating to
the issuance of dog licenses in Frederick County.
