tion to be known as Section 364A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 364 of said Article, relating to the
authority of the President and Commissioners of Port
Deposit to impose and collect certain license fees on
certain vendors of commodities.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added
to Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Cecil County", sub-title "Port De-
posit", said new section to be known as Section 364A, to
follow immediately after Section 364 of said Article, and
to read as follows:
364A. The President and Commissioners are hereby
authorized to impose and collect an annual license fee, not
to exceed $25. 00 per annum, on any person, firm, associa-
tion or corporation engaged in the business of selling any
commodity at retail from door to door, whether or not sale
is made from a wagon, cart or motor vehicle; provided,
however, that any such fee shall be uniform as to all per-
sons, firms, associations or corporations engaged in selling
the same kinds of commodities.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1941. '

CHAPTER 884,
(Senate Bill 503)
AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 89B of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"State Roads", said new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 147A, 147B, 147C, 147D, 147E and 147F, to fol-
low immediately after Section 147, authorizing and em-
powering the State Roads Commission of Maryland to
issue refunding and improvement bonds of said Com-
mission in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed
$11, 000, 000 for the purpose of refunding outstanding
bonds of the Commission issued pursuant to the pro-
visions of Sections 141 to 147, inclusive, of said Article
89B, as said sections were enacted by Chapter 355 of
the Acts of 1937, and for highway and bridge improve-
ment where State funds are required to supplement
