shooting from. It shall be unlawful to erect, set or maintain
any blind at a greater distance than 300 yards from the nat-
ural shore, from which same may be erected; provided, how-
ever, that in the waters on the western side of the Chesapeake
Bay, opposite the shore line of Calvert County it shall be
unlawful to erect, set or maintain any blind at a greater
distance than 1, 000 yards from the natural shore line of said
Calvert County. Said blinds shall not be less than 500 yards
apart, measured in a straight line; provided, however, that a
blind or blinds on land when located at a distance of more
than fifty yards from natural shore shall not be less than 300
yards apart, measured in a straight line, and be it further
provided, however, it shall be unlawful in or over the waters
of Baltimore County to erect, set or maintain any blind at a
greater distance than 150 yards from the natural shore.

(a) It shall be unlawful on any of the rivers of this State
for any person to erect, set or maintain a blind at a farther
distance from the shore than one-half of said river where said
river is less than 600 yards in width, nor shall any person place
any blind on any of the rivers across any channel where said
channel runs near the center of said river.

(b) Provided, however, that in the tributaries of the Chesa-
peake Bay and in the tributaries of the Potomac River in
Charles County and on the waters of Baltimore County said
blinds shall not be less than 250 yards apart measured in a
straight line. However, the 250 yards as provided in Para-
graph A of Section 47 shall not apply to the above sections.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 903)

AN ACT to add nineteen new sections to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition),
being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Licenses", sub-
title "Licenses", to be under sub-heading "Jai-Alai or
Pelota", said new sections to be known as Sections 611A to
611R, inclusive, and to follow immediately after Section
611 of said Article, relating to the regulation, licensing,
control and supervision of the games of jai-alai or pelota as
