All other species of game or fresh water fish, July 1st to
November 30th, which shall include Fall Fish, Blue Gill, all
species of Sun Fish, Crappie, Rock or Goggle-Eye Bass, and
all other species of Bream and Bass.
All dates mentioned above are inclusive.
The open season on fishing in Deep Creek Lake shall be as
provided in this section.
Trout (Brook, Brown and Rainbow)—April 15th to July
15th, except in the Youghiogheny River below Swallow Falls
in Garrett County, the open season on Rainbow Trout shall
be July 1st to November 30th; provided, however, that it
shall be unlawful for any person to fish for or catch any fish
in any of the waters or streams which have been stocked
with trout by the State, between the hours of 8. 00 P. M. and
5. 30 A. M., and then only during the open season for taking
of trout.
Shad, Hickory Shad and Herring — March 15th to June
20th; provided, however, that they can be caught only with
rod, hook and line, using bait or lure and cannot be taken
in any other manner nor in any place other than between
Hog Back Shoals and the Conowingo Dam.
81. Further Restrictions on Fishing in Non-tidal Waters.
It shall be unlawful to catch or attempt to catch any game or
fresh water fish, as defined in Section 1 of this Article, in any
other manner or upon any other conditions, than are herein
provided.
It shall be lawful to fish with rod, hook and line, not to,
exceed two in number when in the immediate control of the
angler.
It shall be lawful to use a slat basket, commonly known as
Chesapeake Bay eel pot, for the purpose of catching eels.
It shall be lawful, during the open season, for any person
who has secured a resident angler's license to fish by the use
of dip net in the water of Susquehanna River between Hog
Back Shoals and the mouth of Deer Creek.
It shall be lawful for any person who has secured a resident
angler's license, to catch suckers, catfish, carp, eels and gud-
geon by the use of dip net of not less than one and one-fourth
inch mesh between February 15th and April 15th, both dates
inclusive, of each year, in any waters of Washington County;
in the waters of Monocacy River and Potomac River in Fred-
erick County and in Middle Creek for a distance of one-fourth
of a mile from where it empties into Potomac River near
Lander, Frederick County, and in the mouth of the waters of
any stream (for a distance not to exceed fifty yards) which
empties into the Monocacy River in Frederick County; pro-
vided, however, that no person shall use a dip net in any of the
