190B. Except for purchases of gasoline or lubricating oil
which are made pursuant to annual requirement contracts
negotiated in any section of Montgomery County, all purchases
of supplies or materials which are regularly and habitually
used in Montgomery County and which, in the aggregate,
exceed the sum of five hundred dollars ($500. 00) in any
ninety-day period, shall be made by the County Purchasing
Agent after receiving duly advertised sealed bids which shall
be opened publicly by the Purchasing Agent on the date
specified in said advertisement. Nothing in this section shall
apply to the purchase of alcoholic beverages by the Liquor
Control Board of Montgomery County.
In addition to the salary provided for the County Purchas-
ing Agent in Section 1009 of this Article, he shall be paid a
further salary of three hundred dollars ($300. 00) per annum
if the duties of the Supervisor of School Property are trans-
ferred to said Purchasing Agent, together with any additional
traveling or personal expenses in the performance of his duties,
not to exceed the sum of five hundred dollars ($500. 00) per
annum.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1941.

_AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Montgomery County (1939 Edition), being Article 16 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Mont-
gomery County", sub-title "Roads", said new section to be
'. known as Section 859A and to follow immediately after
Section 859 of said Code, relating to the fees payable to the
County Engineer by certain applicants for certain permits.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Code
of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition),
being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Roads", said new
section to be known as Section 859A, to follow immediately
after Section 859 of said Code, and to read as follows:
