CHAPTER 819.
(House Bill 847)

AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission to name
a certain road in the Tenth Election District of Worcester
County the "Stephen Decatur Memorial Road", and to
authorize the State Roads Commission to take over and
maintain said road.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the State Roads Commission be and it is here-
by authorized to name the public road located in the Tenth
Election District of Worcester County, running from the
present Berlin-Oc0an City Highway in a southerly direc-
tion for approximately nine and three-quarter (93/4) miles
to the public landing at the end of said road on Sinepuxent
Bay, the "Stephen Decatur Memorial Road", and the State
Roads Commission is hereby authorized to take over and main-
tain said road as a part of the State Highway System.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 848)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
187 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery Coun-
ty (1939 Edition—being Article 16 or the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery County",
sub-title "County Commissioners and Treasurer", so as to
provide for the employment of Attorneys, an Assistant At-
torney and Special Attorneys; to provide for the duties
and compensation of said Attorneys, assistant Attorneys
and special attorneys; to repeal any laws, whether Public
General or Public Local, inconsistent with the provisions
of this Act to the extent of such inconsistency.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 187 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1939 Edition—being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery
