in Section 301 or in this section shall apply to vendors of,
bread, ice, cakes, crackers, milk, oysters and fish in their un-
preserved condition, produce or farm products in a natural
and unmanufactured state, fresh meats uncooked and perish-
able in their nature, and/or newspapers.

(c) Any person who shall violate the provisions of this
section or of any part thereof shall upon conviction be subject
to a fine of not less than Five Dollars ($5. 00) and not more
than Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00) or be sentenced to the
County Jail for not more than sixty days (60), or both in the
discretion of the Court.

(d) The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel Coun-
ty shall charge a fee of One Dollar ($1. 00) for the issuance of
each such license, and shall pay over to the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County all funds received from the
issuance of such licenses, except however, the fee of One
Dollar ($1. 00) which shall be retained by said Clerk, the funds
paid over to the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County shall become a part of the general funds of said
County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 814.
(House Bill 826)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Laurel to borrow not over sixty thousand dollars
($60, 000. 00) and issue its bonds therefor for the purpose
of constructing a sewage disposal plant in the town of
Laurel, and to levy taxes to pay the principal and interest
of such indebtedness.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and City Council of Laurel be and it is
hereby authorized and empowered to borrow on the credit of
the town of Laurel and issue its coupon bonds therefor an
amount not in excess of sixty thousand dollars ($60, 000) for
the purpose of constructing a sewage disposal plant within
the limits of the town of Laurel, the said amount so borrowed
to be used for no other purpose whatever.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said bonds
shall be issued in such denominations as shall be determined
