porated town which maintains its own dump for municipal
purposes.
(f) Any person violating the provisions of this sub-title
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof,
shall be fined not less than five nor more than fifty dollars,
or by imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or both, in
the discretion of the Court.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health and safety and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 51
of Article 2A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Agriculture", sub-title "Soil Conservation
Districts", relating to the compensation of the supervisors
in each Soil Conservation District.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 51 of Article 2A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Agriculture", sub-title "Soil
Conservation Districts", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
