bowling" alleys, ten-pin alleys or duckpin alleys in Baltimore
County during certain hours on Sundays.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Sabbath Breaking",
said new section to be known as Section 574A, to follow imme-
diately after Section 574 of said Article, and to read as
follows:
574A. Nothing contained in Sections 560 or 576 of this
Article shall be construed as prohibiting, penalizing or making
unlawful the operation of any bowling alley, ten-pin alley or
duckpin alley in Baltimore County between the hours of mid-
night Saturday and 1 A. M. Sunday and after 2 P. M. on
Sunday, with or without a charge or fee.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and they
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to amend Section 776CA of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore City", so
as to provide for license fees for public dances, soirees, mask
balls, boxing and athletic contests in the City of Baltimore,
said license fees to be paid to the Secretary of the Board of
Police Commissioners for the benefit of the Special Fund.
