tration", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

28. In Anne Arundel County, on and after June 1, 1941,,
there shall be one day for the registration of voters in the
several precincts and election districts of Anne Arundel
County before each primary election as provided by law; and
one such day preceding each State, County or National elec-
tion, which day shall be the last day provided for the registra-
tion of voters in the several counties of the State, preceding
State, County and National elections; and there shall be the
revision day provided by law. All of the other provisions of
this Article relating to the registration of voters, except as
herein provided, shall apply to the registration of voters under
the provisions of this section.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1941.

CHAPTER 763.
(House Bill 457)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Alcoholic Bever-
ages", sub-title "Regulations and Restrictions", said new
section to be known as Section 42A, and to follow imme-
diately after Section 42 of said Article, prohibiting the
consumption of alcoholic beverages between the hours of
2 A. M. and 6 A. M. on any day at public places not licensed
to sell the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by1 the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Regulations and Restric-
tions", said new section to be known as Section 42A, to follow
immediately after Section 42 of said Article, and to read as
follows:

42A. Between the hours of 2 A. M. and 6 A. M. on any day
no person shall consume any alcoholic beverage on any prem-
ises open to the general public, any place of public entertain-
ment, or any place at which set-ups or other component parts
