Garrett County for the purpose of collecting the taxes herein
provided.

The said County Treasurer for said Garrett County shall
receive as compensation for the collection of taxes as pro-
vided by this section, the sum of ten cents per motor vehicle
for making tax bills and taxing the amount thereof according
to the rate, certified to him by the Mayor and Town Council
of Oakland, the Town of Loch Lynn Heights, the Town of
Kitzmillersville and of Mountain Lake Park, and in addition
the sum of one per cent, for the collection of said taxes, which
said compensation the Mayor and Town Council of Oakland,
the Town of Loch Lynn Heights, the Town of Kitzmillersville
and of Mountain Lake Park are authorized and directed to
provide for and pay.

This section shall apply only to taxes becoming due and
in arrears under the levy of 1937 and thereafter any and all
adjustments and releases with reference to said motor vehicles
and the taxes levied thereon to be made by the Supervisor of
Assessments of said Garrett County.

All Acts, general, local and special, including the Charter
provisions of the Municipality of the Mayor and Town Coun-
cil of Oakland, the Town of Loch Lynn Heights, the Town of
Kitzmillersville and of Mountain Lake Park inconsistent with
the provisions hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 737.

(House Bill 792)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Elections", sub-
title "Registration", said new section to be known as Sec-
tion 62A and to follow immediately after Section 62 of said
Article relating to the transcribing of the names of regis-
tered voters in Howard County on new registration books,
or in the discretion of the Supervisors of Election of said
County on cards or loose-leaf pages and authorizing the
said Supervisors to purchase and use such cards and other
equipment deemed necessary therefor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
