CHAPTER 699.
(House Bill 613)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 305 to 310 inclusive, of Article 23
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1939 Edition), title
"Corporations", sub-title "Telegraph and Telephone Com-
panies", prescribing the rates to be charged by telephone
companies, and prohibiting such companies from discrimi-
nating between customers.

WHEREAS, this Section is no longer effective since the crea-
tion of the Public Service Commission; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 305 to 310 inclusive, of Article 23 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corpora-
tions", sub-title "Telegraph and Telephone Companies", be and
the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

Approved May 2, 1941.

CHAPTER 700.
(House Bill 614)

AN ACT to repeal Section 272 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations", sub-
title "Railroad Corporations", relating to the rate to be
charged by common carriers for carrying milk, etc.

WHEREAS, this Section is no longer effective since the crea-
tion of the Public Service Commission; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 272 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations", sub-title "Rail-
road Corporations", be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

Approved May 2, 1941.
