will be stricken from the registration book. The Mayor and
Town Council shall on such latter revision date determine all
questions of qualification and strike such names from the regis-
tration books as they find to be disqualified. Any person feel-
ing aggrieved by such action of the Mayor and Town Council
may appeal to the Circuit Court for Prince George's County,
Maryland, within three days exclusive of Sundays and legal
holidays. It shall be the duty of the Town Clerk to make a
list of all names added or removed from the registration book
since the last general election, and post the game in a public
place in the town or publish such list in a county newspaper
haying a general circulation in the town, at least seven days
preceding the date of the election.

The Town Clerk and the members of the Mayor and Town
Council and any person designated by the Mayor and Town
Council for the purpose of registering voters, are hereby em-
powered to administer an oath to all applicants for registra-
tion, and any person who swears falsely touching his qualifica-
tions as a voter or registrant, or his identity shall be guilty of
the crime of perjury and shall be subject to the penalties pre-
scribed by the Public General Laws of Maryland.

SEC. 11. Except as hereinafter provided for the first election
hereunder, the Mayor, Treasurer, and Councilmen shall be
elected on the first Monday in May in each odd-numbered year.
They shall take office on the Monday following election, and
shall hold office for two years, or until their successors are
duly elected and qualified. Elections shall be held at a place or
places to be designated by the Mayor and Town Council and
the poles shall remain open from 1 o'clock P. M. until 9. 00
o'clock P. M.

SEC. 12. At least 21 days before each election there shall
be appointed three Judges of Election and Two Clerks of
Election, who shall conduct the election of Mayor, Treasurer
and Councilmen in accordance with the provisions of this Char-
ter. The rules and procedure of conducting the election shall
be governed by the general election laws of Maryland on any
question not provided for in this Charter. In the event any
Judge or Clerk after appointment is unable to serve or de-
clines to serve the remaining Judges shall name someone to
take his or her place. At least 15 days before any election
the said Mayor and Town Council shall cause to be posted in
a public place in each ward in the Town notices of said elec-
tion, designating the time and place or places of voting, the
hours the polls will be open and the names of the Judges and
Clerks.

There shall be a separate ballot for each ward which ballot
shall contain the names of the candidates for Mayor, Treas-
