plied with, and shall perform such other duties as may be
prescribed by the County Commissioners aforesaid not in-
consistent with Sections 664-670, provided that any person
or persons violating any rules and regulations so promulgated
by the County Commissioners of this Act shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof in the Circuit
Court or Police Court of Montgomery County shall be fined
not more than one hundred dollars ($100. 00); and the County
Commissioners are hereby authorized and empowered to ap-
point and employ assistants, one of whom shall possess a com-
prehensive knowledge of electrical installation and repairs,
to the Building Inspector, each of whom shall hold office at
the pleasure of the County Commissioners, and shall be paid
as compensation for his services a sum not to exceed twenty-
seven hundred dollars ($2700. 00) per annum, the said assist-
ants to the Building Inspector to be under the direction of the
County Building Inspector and shall perform such duties as
may be required in enforcing the Building Code for Montgom-
ery County. The County Commissioners are hereby author-
ized and empowered to appoint, employ, and fix the compen-
sation of, two (2) clerks to be under the direction of the
County Building Inspector and perform such duties as he may
direct. The County Building Inspector, his assistants and
said clerks shall give their full time to the performance of their
duties.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 684)

AN ACT to annex a portion of the Fourth Election District
to the Ninth Election District of Montgomery County.

SECTION 1. All that portion of the Fourth Election District
of Montgomery County as heretofore constituted, included
within the following lines, limits and boundaries mentioned in
this Act is hereby annexed to and constituted a part of the
Ninth Election District of Montgomery County: Beginning for
the same at the bridge over Mill Branch on the Redland-
Derwood Road and following the said Redland-Derwood Road
from the said bridge to the intersection of the Frederick Pike
and the Redland-Derwood Road; thence north along the Fred-
