factory. No such contest shall, however, be considered unless
a petition is filed in the Circuit Court for Prince George's
County within seven days, exclusive of Sundays and legal
holidays, after the decision of the Mayor and Common Council
of Mount Rainier on said election shall be made.
Any legally qualified voter who has voted at any election in
said town on any question submitted to the voters shall have
a similar right of contesting the result of such election to be
exercised in a similar way.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
665 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery Coun-
ty (1939 Edition—being Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery County", re-
lating to the County Building Inspector, his assistants and
clerks.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 665 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1939 Edition—being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery
County", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
665. The County Commissioners of Montgomery County
are hereby directed and empowered to appoint and employ
some suitable person as County Building Inspector, who shall
hold office at the pleasure of the County Commissioners and
shall be paid a sum not to exceed twenty-eight hundred dollars
($2800. 00) per annum, and they are hereby authorized, em-
powered and directed to fix a schedule of fees or charges for
the issuance of permits for the construction, repair, erection
or remodeling of houses or buildings in the Maryland, Wash-
ington Metropolitan District. The Inspector of Buildings
appointed as aforesaid shall have the supervision of the con-
struction of all buildings erected in said district and shall see
that the rules and regulations of the County Commissioners
relating to the construction of said building shall be com-
