name shall not appear upon the official ballot. In order to
vote for any candidate or candidates, the voter shall make a
cross (X) in the square opposite the name of each candidate
for whom he may wish to vote. There shall be a separate ballot
of a distinctive color for each ward, which ballots shall con-
tain the names of the candidates for Mayor and for Council-
man of the particular ward, but not the Councilman of any
other ward. The official ballots shall be printed as nearly as
practicable in accordance with the following form, the date,
ward numbers and names to be changed, but the names of all
candidates for Mayor to be arranged alphabetically and the
names of all candidates for Councilmen in each ward to be
arranged alphabetically.
