line through the property of W. L. Brann parallel to and dis-
tant two hundred and fifty feet east at right angles from the
division line of said W. L. Brann and George R, English and
others to the center of the road leading from Walkersville to
Mt. Pleasant; thence through the lands of John D. Nicodemus
and others to the southwest corner of the Walkersville High
School property; thence by and with the west side of said
school property three hundred and eighty-eight and one-half
feet to the Walkersville and Frederick State Road; thence in
a straight line to the place of beginning.
SEC. 2, And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 433)
AN ACT to authorize Bethlehem Steel Company, a corpora-
tion of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a property
owner and taxpayer of Baltimore County, Maryland, its suc-
cessors and assigns, to create, construct and maintain a
dam, dike or solid fill across or in front of the mouth of
Humphreys Creek, the mouth of which creek opens into Bear
Creek, both creeks being navigable waters lying wholly with-
in Baltimore County, Maryland, and to fill in and make im-
provements into the waters of said Humphreys Creek and its
tranches and of such part of Bear Creek lying in the rear
of said dam, dike or solid fill, and to hold title to such land
and improvements as shall have been or may be made or
formed from time to time by so filling or making improve-
ments in said waters.
WHEREAS, Bethlehem Steel Company, a corporation of the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a property owner and tax-
payer of Baltimore County, Maryland, which corporation, to-
gether with its wholly owned subsidiary, the Dundalk Com-
pany, owns all the land surrounding Humphreys Creek in Bal-
timore County, the mouth of which creek opens into Bear
Creek, a tributary of the Patapsco River, is desirous of erect-
ing a dam, dike or solid fill across the mouth of said Hum-
phreys Creek or in Bear Creek in front of said Humphreys
Creek and to fill in the waters of said Humphreys Creek and
its branches and that portion of Bear Creek lying in the rear
