relating to the execution of the death sentence by the
Sheriff of Frederick County.

WHEREAS, the general laws of the State provide for the
execution of the death sentence in the Maryland Peniten-
tiary, therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 722 of Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Frederick County", sub-title "Sheriff", be, and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal Section 143 of Article 11 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title

section no longer being in effect.
