or misconduct in the same manner as civil officers receiving
appointment from the Executive for a term of years, may be
removed by the Governor under the provisions of Section 15
of Article 2 of the Constitution.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 8.
(Senate Bill 17)

AN ACT to repeal Section 11 of Article 48A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-
title "Insurance Department", said section relating to the
power of the Insurance Commissioner to make certain rules
and regulations.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section have expired by
limitation; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 11 of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title "Insur-
ance Department", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

(Senate Bill 18)

AN ACT to repeal Section 82 of Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Justices of the
Peace", sub-title "Probates, Affidavits and Other Instru-
ments", said section authorizing the Governor to appoint a
Commission to make recommendations as to the appoint-
ment, procedure, etc., of Justices of the Peace for Balti-
more City.
