within the State of any motor vehicle owned by him shall
be withdrawn while any final judgment against him as
aforesaid, shall be unstayed, unsatisfied and subsisting for
more than thirty (30) days, as aforesaid, and shall not be
renewed, nor shall any operator's or chauffeur's license be
issued to him or any motor vehicle registered in this name
until every such judgment shall be stayed, satisfied or dis-
charged as herein provided, and until such person shall
have given proof of his ability to respond in damages for
future accidents, as required in Section 165 hereof.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
340 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot County", sub-
title "Oxford", as said section was amended by Chapter
159 of the Acts of 1935, authorizing an increase in the
town tax levy.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 340 of Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Talbot County", sub-title "Oxford", as said section was
amended by Chapter 159 of the Acts of 1935, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
340. They may levy and collect taxes in said town not
exceeding in any year one dollar and ten cents ($1. 10) on
the hundred dollars on the assessable property in said town.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1941.
