CHAPTER 619.
(Souse Bill 725)

AN ACT to change the boundaries of the Second, Fifth, Eighth
and Tenth Election Districts of Worcester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the boundaries of the Second, Fifth, Eighth and
Tenth Election Districts of Worcester County be changed by
transferring from the Fifth Election District to the Tenth
Election District all that parcel of land between Sinepuxent
Bay, the Delaware State Line, the Atlantic Ocean and the
northern boundary of the Tenth Election District, including
all islands in the Sinepuxent Bay, all of the said area to be-
come a part of the Tenth Election District, and by transferring
from the Second and Eighth Election Districts all that parcel
of land between Sinepuxent Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and the
Virginia State Line, and the southern boundary of the Tenth
Election District, including all islands in the Sinepuxent Bay,
all of the said area to become a part of the Tenth Election
District.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Supervisors of
Elections of Worcester County shall cause to be stricken from
the list of qualified voters on the registration books of the
Second, Fifth and Eighth Election Districts, before the next
election in Worcester County, the names of all persons resid-
ing in the parts of the Second, Fifth and Eighth Election
Districts described in Section 1 of this Act and transferred to
and made a part of the Tenth Election District, and shall
cause such names so stricken off as aforesaid to be transferred
to the proper registration books of the Tenth Election District
of said County.

SEC. 3. And be It further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 17 and 18 of Article 36 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fees of
Officers", sub-title "Coroners and Coroners' Inquests".
