SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 326 of Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Tal-
bot County", sub-title "Orphans Court", as said section was
amended by Chapter 74 of the Acts of 1933, be, and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read
as follows:
326. The Judges of the Orphans Court of Talbot County
shall each receive as compensation the sum of Eight Dol-
lars for every day's attendance upon the sessions of said
Court to be paid by the County Commissioners of said Tal-
bot County in monthly payments; provided that no Judge
of said Court shall receive in any one year as compensation
for his services a sum exceeding Five Hundred and Fifty
Dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1941.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 33 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Elec-
tions", sub-title "Primary Elections", said new section
to be known as Section 229A, and to follow immediately
after Section 229 of said Article, relating to the election
of State Central Committeemen in Talbot County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Elections", sub-title "Primary Elections", said
new section to be known as Section 229A, to follow imme-
diately after Section 229 of said Article, and to read as
follows:
229A. In Talbot County at the primary elections in
1942 and in every fourth year thereafter, one State Central
Committeeman for each of the respective parties, shall be
elected from among the residents of each election district
in Talbot County by the countywide vote of the qualified
voters of the respective political parties.
