205N. Accounting. The several court clerks herein
provided for shall collect and take charge of all fines,
penalties, forfeitures, fees and costs imposed by the mag-
istrate to whose court he is assigned and he shall account
to the Supervisor for all such monies collected by him at
the close of the Court session each day. The Supervisor
shall account, within the time prescribed by the Motor
Vehicle Laws, to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles for
all fines, forfeitures, penalties, fees and costs collected in
the Traffic Court.

The several magistrates assigned to the Traffic Court
shall handle no funds of the Court and shall not be re-
quired to give any other additional bond than that required
by other justices of the peace under Section 715 of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1938
Edition).

205-O. Quarters. The Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore shall provide suitable and proper quarters for said
Traffic Court in the Police Department Headquarters or
such other place as may be convenient and suitable.

205P. Expenses. All necessary expenses for the oper-
ation of the Traffic Court, including the salaries of the
magistrates, substitute magistrates and clerks herein pro-
vided for, shall be paid out of monies in the hands of the
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles realized and collected
from fines and costs imposed by the Traffic Court.

205Q. Process. Whenever the owner or operator of a
motor vehicle is accused of a violation of any provision of
the automobile laws of the State, or of any local ordinance,
rules or regulations of any municipality or county of this
State, and a warrant, summons or notice is served upon
him to appear for trial, before a magistrate of the Traffic
Court, he shall be notified in said warrant, summons or
notice of the nature and character of the charge against
him, and the day and hour of each trial shall be fixed at
such time, so far as may be practicable, as shall cause the
least inconvenience to such persons and the witnesses in
said cases.

205R. Probation of Minors. The magistrates of the
Traffic Court shall have and possess the power to release
on probation any persons under the age of 21 years who
may be found guilty of violating the Motor Vehicle Laws
of this State, such release on probation to be in lieu of the
payment of fine or service of sentence.
