CHAPTER 376.
(Senate Bill 120)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments sections
140 and 141 of Article 93, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title, "Testementary Law, " sub-title,
"Distribution, " providing for distribution to boards of
County Commissioners,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 140 and 141 of Article 93, of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Teste-
mentary Law, " sub-title, "Distribution, " be and the same
are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to
read as follows:
140. If there be no widow or relations of the intestate
within the fifth degree, which shall be reckoned by count-
ing down from the common ancestor to the more remote,
the whole surplus shall belong to the State, and shall be
paid to the board of county commissioners of the
county wherein letters of administration shall be granted
upon the estate of the deceased, for the use of the public
schools of said county.
141. If any legal representative shall appear after
payment has been made under the preceding section, the
board of county commissioners receiving such payment
shall pay the same to such representative; but no collateral
more remote than brothers' and sisters' children shall
claim under this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1939.

209 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1935 Supplement), title "Licenses, " sub-title "Motor
Vehicles, " sub-heading "Rules of the Road, " providing
that bicycles shall at all times keep as close to the right
