SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts heretofore enacted inconsistent with this Act be and they
are hereby repealed.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the provisions of
this Act shall in no manner prevent the prosecution of persons
who have been arrested for violation of game or inland fish
laws existing on the statute books of this State prior to its
enactment. The repeal by this Act of any provisions of law
shall not revive any law heretofore repealed or superseded.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 69
of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924
Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title "Agents and Brokers",
as said section was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 112
of the Acts of 1937, relating to the status of brokers'
solicitors.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 69 of Article 48A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title
"Agents and Brokers", be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
69. Broker's Solicitor. Any person who, for compensa-
tion, whether by way of salary or commission, or both, shall
solicit on behalf of and in the name of a duly qualified broker
operating under a broker's license in conformity with the
provisions of Section 68 of this Article, and not in Ms own
name, or in any manner aids said broker in negotiating con-
tracts of insurance or re-insurance in the name of said
broker, is hereby designated a broker's solicitor and shall be
deemed to be such for the purpose of this Article. No person
shall act in any manner or perform any of the duties or func-
tions of such broker's solicitor until application for a license
therefor shall have been made both by said broker's solicitor
and by said broker on application forms provided by the
