shall be the duty of such officers to render the required assist-
ance as in other State cases.

17. The Clerks of the Circuit Courts of the Counties and
the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore City
shall on the first day of June and on the first day of each and
every month thereafter, transmit to the Comptroller of this
State all monies received by them for licenses, and the
amounts so received by the Comptroller shall be placed to the
credit of a separate fund to be known as "The State Game
Protection Fund" and shall be disbursed by the Comptroller
from time to time on warrants signed by the Game Warden
and countersigned by a representative of the Commission. The
monies in said Fund shall be used solely for the salaries and
expenses of the State Game and Inland Fish Commission,
the State Game Warden and his subordinates, and for scien-
tific investigation and the protection and propagation of birds,
wild fowl, inland fish and game. The State Game and Inland
Fish Commission shall require the Game Warden to file an
annual account with it showing the entire receipts and dis-
bursements of himself and all deputies and exhibit vouchers
therefor and also shall require said Game Warden to file
an annual bond in the penalty of Two Thousand Dollars
(|27000. 00) for the faithful performance of his duties, the
cost of the bond to be paid out of the State Game Protection
Fund.

81. Whenever the terms "Conservation Commission", "Con-
servation Department", "Conservation Commissioner" or
"Game Division of the Conservation Department of Mary-
land" appear in Sections 1 to 80, inclusive, of this Article, they
shall be deemed to refer to the State Game and Inland Fish
Commission created by this Act.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That Section 77 of Article
39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement),
title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-title "Non-Tidal Waters", be
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as
follows:

77. Clerk's Duties. Licenses shall be issued by the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for each county and the Clerk of the Court of
Common Pleas of Baltimore City, and in addition thereto may
be issued by the State Game Warden or such persons at it may
designate, on forms prepared and supplied by the State Game
Warden, and shall show the name, age, occupation and resi-
dence of the licensee, the date of its issuance must be signed in
ink by such licensee and shall authorize the person named
therein to fish with rod, hook and line in the waters of the State
