sub-title "Fines, " as said section was enacted by Chapter
93 of the Acts of 1937, providing funds for the mainte-
nance and support of a bar library for Queen Anne's
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 233A of Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Fines, " as said section
was enacted by Chapter 93 of the Acts of 1937, be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to
read as follows:
233A. The County Commissioners of Queen Anne's
County shall in each and every year by their warrant or
warrants drawn on the Treasurer of said County order
said Treasurer to pay to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Queen Anne's such sum or sums of money that shall be
equal to twenty per centum of all criminal fines received
by said County Commissioners for said fiscal year; pro-
vided, however, that the total sum of said warrant or war-
rants shall not exceed in any one fiscal year the sum of four
hundred dollars. The Clerk of said Court shall disburse
the said sum or sums so received for the maintenance and
support of a Bar Library for said County upon the written
order or orders of the Bar Library Committee appointed by
the Judges of the Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or
parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT authorizing and directing the Maryland Racing
Commission to permit the Southern Maryland Agricul-
tural Association to hold four days of racing in the year
1939 in lieu of the four days on which a blizzard pre-
vented racing in the year 1938.
