AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
37A and 41A of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, as enacted by Chapter 11 of the Acts of the Special
Session of 1937, title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title
"Excise Tax"; to repeal the sub-title "Manufacturers'
Tax on Distilled Spirits", and Sections 41B and 41C of
said Article 2B, as enacted by said Chapter 11; to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section 37 of said Article
2B, as amended by Chapter 411 of the Acts of the Regular
Session of 1937; to repeal and re-enact with amendments
Section 73 of Article 56 of said Code title "Licenses",
sub-title "Tax on Admissions", as enacted by said Chap-
ter 11; to repeal Section 212 of Article 81 of said Code, title
"Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Tax on Toilet Articles and
Cosmetics", as enacted by Chapter 11; to repeal and re-
enact with amendments Sections 213 and 214 of said Article
81, sub-title "Tax on Recordation of Instruments in Writ-
ing", as enacted by said Chapter 11; to repeal Section 214A
of said Article 81, as enacted by Chapter 8 of the Acts of
the Special Session of 1937; to repeal Section 23A of said
Article 56, as enacted by said Chapter 11; to repeal and re-
enact with amendments Section 23B of said Article 56, as
enacted by said Chapter 11; to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 74 of said Article 56, sub-title "Motor
Vehicle Titling Tax", as enacted by Chapter 230 of the Acts
of the Regular Session of 1937; to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Section 12A of Article 78B of said Code,
title "Racing Commission"; to repeal Sections 215 to
251_? inclusive, of said Article 81, as enacted by said Chapter
11, sub-title "Income Tax", and enact in lieu thereof thirty-
seven new sections to be known as Sections 215 to 251, in-
clusive, to follow immediately after Section 214 of said
Article, providing for the levy and collection of an income
tax; to repeal Section 40A of Article 19 of said Code, as
enacted by said Chapter 11, title "Comptroller"; to repeal
and re-enact with amendments Section 39 of Article 48A of
said Code, title "Insurance", sub-title "General Provisions";
