Pheasant or any other imported
species, Buffed Grouse, Babbit or
Hare, Wild Turkey, Partridges
(Quail)—

November 15th to December 31st, inclusive,
except in Garrett and Allegany Counties the
open season shall be November 1st to Novem-
ber 30th.

Provided, however, it shall be unlaw-
ful to hunt or kill the female Eng-
lish Ringneck or Mongolian or
Melanistic Mutant or any other
species of imported Pheasant at
any time.

Male Deer, with two or more points
to one antler—

May be hunted, pursued or killed for a period
of five days, beginning the first Monday in De-
cember, except on the Woodmont Rod and
Gun Club in Washington County, December
15th to December 24th, inclusive; provided,
however, it shall be unlawful to hunt any deer
in Worcester County.

(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to set any trap
(except box traps for rabbits), net or snare of any description,
for the purpose of taking game, except fur-bearing animals.
If any person is found in possession of any trap, net or snare,
it shall be prima facie evidence that said devices were in
possession for the purpose of violating this section, and shall
be confiscated by any officer of this State and destroyed. It
shall be unlawful for any person to place any traps of any
description on the property of another without their written
permission.

(b) It shall be unlawful to hunt, pursue, catch, kill, trap,
shoot or attempt to hunt, pursue, catch, kill, trap or shoot any
game except during the open season as provided by law, or have
any dead game in possession during any closed season whether
same was killed within the State of Maryland or in any other
State, territory or country, provided, however, that dead up-
land game may be possessed three days after the close of the
open season to be used as food. Provided, however, deer killed
legally in any other State or country may be brought into this
State by the person killing same upon presentation of permit
from said State or country in which said deer was killed and
the required hunter's license of that State or country, during
any closed season for the hunting of same in Maryland, pro-
