Section to be known as Section 204B and to follow imme-
diately after Section 204A, to provide that persons making
arrests in motor vehicle violation cases shall make reports
to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, and to provide pen-
alties.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1935 Supple-
ment, title "Licenses" sub-titles "Motor Vehicles" Part 5 "En-
forcement of Motor Vehicle Laws—Arrest, Bail, Trial and
Appeal'', said new Section to be known as Section 204B and to
follow immediately after Section 204A of said Article and to
read as follows:
204B. The several police officers and other persons duly
authorized to make arrests in this State, including constables
and all officers of counties, cities and towns, shall make im-
mediate report to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, on
forms to be provided by him, of all arrests made on charges
of violating the Motor Vehicle Laws of this State, together
with the dispositions of said charges on trial before the several
trial magistrates of the State; and violation of this section
shall be deemed a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, the of-
fender shall be subject to a fine of not more than one hundred
dollars ($100. 00).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 229.
(House Bill 145)
AN ACT to add three new sections to Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", sub-title "Hagerstown", to be under
sub-heading "Junk Shops and Second-Hand Stores", said
new sections to be known as Sections 381A, 381B and 381C,
and to follow immediately after Section 381 of said Article,
relating to junk shops and second-hand stores in the City
of Hagerstown.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That three new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
