from the Marlboro Pike in a generally northern direction for
approximately one-half mile to the corporate limits of the
Town of District Heights, and thence continuing in the same
general direction for about one-fourth of a mile to an intersec-
tion with Walker Mill Road, shall hereafter be a County Road
tinder the supervision of the County Commissioners of Prince
George's County, and shall be maintained by them as are other
County Roads in Prince George's County. Provided, however,
that the grades of said County Road at intersections with
streets of the Town of District Heights shall be established
under agreements between The District Heights Commission
and the County Commissioners of Prince George's County, so as
not to interfere with the grades and drainage established from
time to time by The District Heights Commission. And pro-
vided further, that the Town of District Heights shall have
the right to lay sidewalks on said "County Road" at any time
and to assess the costs thereof against the owners of abutting
property in accordance with the provisions of the Town Char-
ter or any future amendments thereto.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts and parts
of acts inconsistent with any of the provisions of this Act are
hereby repealed to the extent of their inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 4 of
Chapter 61 of the Acts of the Extraordinary Session of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1936, entitled "An Act
to incorporate the Town of District Heights, in Prince
George's County", etc., as the same was repealed and re-
enacted by Chapter 273 of the Acts of the Regular Session
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1937, said amend-
ments granting additional powers to The District Heights
Commission.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-sections A and B of Section 4 of Chapter 61
of the Acts of the Extraordinary Session of 1936, as the same
was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 273 of the Acts of the
