rules and regulations of the governing bodies for the
respective parties in the counties, city or State may now
or shall hereafter provide.
The nomination of candidates for the office of Senator
from Maryland in the United States Senate, as provided
for in Section 220 of this Article, shall be made according
to the provisions of this section as amended.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
115, 117 and 118 of Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen
Anne's County", sub-title "Centreville", sub-heading
"Light Plant", relating to the sale of electricity and the
condemnation of property incident to such sales by the
Town Commissioners of Centreville, to individuals and
corporations in any County of the State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it 'enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 115, 117 and 118 of Article 18 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "Centreville", sub-
heading "Light Plant", be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
115. The Town Commissioners of Centreville, a munici-
pal corporation, is hereby fully authorized arid empowered
to construct, erect or acquire by purchase and maintain an
electric light, heat and power plant sufficient for the pur-
pose of properly lighting the streets and alleys of the town
of Centreville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland, and for
the purpose of supplying the citizens, inhabitants and cor-
porations of said town, and the vicinity of said town within
the limits of Queen Anne's county aforesaid, and to supply
citizens, inhabitants and corporations of Caroline County,
Maryland, within and adjacent to the Town of Bridgetown
with electricity in all forms and for all purposes when in
their discretion contracts are for the mutual advantage of
the parties; and the word "Plant" employed in this act shall
