lected on December 1st and in any event not exceeding one
hundred thousand dollars ($100, 000. 00).
(2) On or before April 1st in the year following that
in which borrowed, the County Commissioners shall repay
the entire outstanding balance of the amounts so borrowed
in the preceding year.
GENERAL PROVISIONS.
174R. (a) The Supervisor may prescribe forms and
promulgate rules to carry out the purposes of this sub-
title and such rules shall have the force of law upon any
officer or employee of any County agency.
(b) Whenever the Supervisor is absent for any cause or
a vacancy exists in the office of Supervisor, the Director
of the Department of Assessments shall perform the duties
and exercise the powers of the Supervisor under this sub-
title.
174S. This sub-title shall not affect the preparation
of the school budget by the County Board of Education,
the levy of school taxes, or the expenditure of the receipts
of such taxes, in accordance with Section 56 of Article 77
of the Annotated Code and Section 217 of this Article
and other provisions of law, except that said Board shall
be subject to Sections 174D, 174N, and 174T of this sub-
title.
174T. Any County Commissioner or any official of any
County agency who shall wilfully disregard, evade or vio-
late any provision of this sub-title, or fail to discharge
any of the duties imposed upon him by this sub-title shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction in the
Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, shall be fined not
more than five hundred dollars ($500. 00), and shall there-
after be ineligible for appointment or election to any public
office in the County.
174U. As used in this sub-title
(1) "Budget Supervisor" or "Supervisor" means the
Budget Supervisor appointed pursuant to this sub-title;
(2) "County agency" includes the Board of County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel County and any officer,
department, commission, board, bureau or other agency
of the County and any institution receiving any appropri-
ation from county funds;
