CHAPTER 147.
(House Bill 96)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 510
of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-
title "Hyattsville", relating to the duties and salary of the
Treasurer of Hyattsville.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 510 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Hyattsville", be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
510. The Treasurer shall make all collections of taxes and
receive all money paid for the use and benefit of said corpora-
tion; he shall keep an account of the receipts and disburse-
ments of the funds of the corporation, in a well bound book,
to be provided by the said Mayor and Common Council for
that purpose, and shall render the account to the Mayor and
Common Council when required by them, for all moneys
received by him, and shall promptly disburse on the order
of the Mayor and Common Council under such regulations
as is may prescribe, all sums of moneys so received by him.
He shall receive for his services the sum of $167. 00 per month,
payable monthly.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1940.

AN ACT to add four new sections to Article 13 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Harford County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as the
same was amended by Chapter 509 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1935; and as further amended
by Chapter 163 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, 1937, to follow Section 234L of said Article, and
to be known as Sections 234M to 234P inclusive, authoriz-
