follow immediately after Section 791-B of said Article and
to read as follows:

791-C. The boundaries of the Town of Rockville are
hereby extended to include the following area, which is
added to said town: beginning for the same at the point
of intersection of the southerly side of Argyle Street with
the southerly side of Maryland Avenue; thence with the
southerly side of Maryland Avenue to a point therein where
the extension of the fourth line of a conveyance from Home
Owners' Loan Corporation to Bradley C. Karn, which is
recorded in Liber No. 717 at folio 408 of the Land Records
of Montgomery County, intersects the same; thence with
said extension and the fourth line of said conveyance from
Home Owners' Loan Corporation to Karn and the westerly
line of George P. Henderson's land N 42° 52' 30" W to the
easterly edge of the road leading from Rockville to Po-
tomac; thence across said road in a straight line to a point
where the Corporate limits of Rockville intersect the west-
erly line of said road.

That all of the inhabitants of the territory by this Act
annexed to the Town of Rockville shall in all respects be
subject to the powers, jurisdiction and authority now vest-
ed or to be vested by law in The Mayor and Council of
Rockville.

That all of the provisions of the Public Local Laws of
Maryland pertaining to the Town of Rockville and all of
the ordinances heretofore enacted by The Mayor and Coun-
cil of Rockville shall be and the same are extended and
made applicable to the territory by this Act annexed to said
Town.

That all property, real and personal, in said territory
shall be subject to assessment, levy and taxation for all
proper purposes, including the payment of interest upon
and retirement of the principal of bonds of the Town of
Rockville now outstanding or hereafter to be issued, in the
same manner and form and at the same rate of taxation as
property of similar character or description within the old
limits of said Town, the first of such levies to be made at
the time of the annual levy of taxes of said Town for the
year 1939.

That all streets, avenues, alleys and roadways lying with-
in the areas by this Act annexed to the Town of Rockville
which have heretofore been legally constituted streets,
roads, avenues or alleys, shall be held to be validly consti-
tuted streets, roads, avenues and alleys of the Town of
Rockville.
