hundred dollars and be subject to removal from office for
neglect of duty.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or
parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
be and they are hereby repealed to the extent of such in-
consistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1939.

CHAPTER 115.

(Senate Bill 186)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City
Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title
"Special Fund", said new section to be known as Section
946A and to follow immediately after Section 946 of
said Article, to provide increased pensions for members
of the police force and certain other employees of the
Police Department on account of services in excess of
thirty (30) years.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 116.
(Senate Bill 196)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
434 of Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery County",
sub-title "Garrett Park", as said section was amended
by Chapter 130 of the Acts of 1936 (Special Session),
conferring additional powers upon the town of Garrett
Park.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 434 of Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
